Australian tasting

A recurring theme at AGMs has been a request from some members to taste more wines from the New World.  Another issue which has been frequently mentioned is blind tasting. For our March tasting on 27 March we combined these two pursuits when Dermot Nolan MW presented a selection of Australian wines with the first eight wines being shown blind. Dermot certainly challenged our preconceptions with some interesting pairings and gave us an informative, excellent tasting, which cost €35.
